The Ashby/Brandon-Evansville Bolts had a great cross country season this year. Though the team was a little smaller than prior years, it was a dedicated group and worked every day to become 1% better. This was proven over and over as so many athletes set new PRs every race and both the girls and boys team have new program records.  Record holders at Lauren Thoennes (20:18.3) and Benjamin Myron (18:00.0).

Highlights for the season include All-Conference recognition for Thoennes, Courtney Paulson, and Myron, with Honorable Mention All-Conference honors going to Lexi Bitzan, August Bredberg and Kenneth Spielman.

Five 7th and 8th graders represented A-B-E at the Junior High state meet in Wayzata. This was an amazing opportunity for these young runners and they all set new PRs.

Makenna Thoennes (48th), Siri Johnson (51st), Landyn Johnson (23rd), Chase Hansel (28th), and Ryder Johnson (59th).
