Parkers Prairie opened the Section 6A baseball playoffs with a 19-1 win over the Ashby Arrows on Tuesday.  Dylan Debilzen got the start on the mound for the Panthers and was perfect through 3 innings of work with 6 strikeouts.  Holden Truax came on in relief for the final 2 innings.

“By the end of the third inning the offense had the game well in hand,” noted Head Coach Derek Denny.  “Both Debilzen and Truax stayed under pitch count, so the Panthers are sitting in good shape for Thursday.”

Debilzen had the blast of the game as he belted a two-run homer in the 3rd for his fourth round tripper of the season.  The Panthers pounded out 11 hits and 14 RBI on the day.

The Panthers look to take on Browerville at 2:30pm Thursday in Ashby as the double elimination portion of the tournament gets underway.
