Beyer, Hunter take 1st and 2nd in Quad County Tourney

Border West's Paige Beyer was the medalist in the Quad County girls tournament posting an 80 on Monday. WCA's Lexi Hunter was 2nd with an 84. Hunter beat OTC's Bridgette Hillman (also an 84) in an extra playoff hole. Hillman took 3rd.  Underwoods' Madison Hoen and OTC's Sophie Hillman tied with 87's. Hoen beat Sophie in an extra playoff hole to take 4th with Sophie Hillman taking 5th. There was a 3-way tie for 6th with three girls shooting 93.  New Testament Christian's Ashley Larson took the 6th place medal winning the playoff hole over Pillager's Kimberly Keefe and OTC's Janie Ihotak.

The girls Quad County conference takes the top three scores. OTC won the girl's conference championship with a 264, Border West took 2nd with a 284, WCA took 3rd with a 304, followed by Pillager 316, New Testament Christian 327, Ashby-BE 344, and Hillcrest 356.

Other WCA scores were Mya Foslien 110, Joelle Toso 110, Aubrie Schroeder 113, and Emma Kaiser 118.

The All-Conference team members for the season were:

OTC - Sophie Hillman, Bridgette Hillman, and Janie Ihotak

Border West - Paige Beyer (Conference season Medalist), and Aspen Beyer

WCA - Lexi Hunter

Underwood  - Maddie Hoen

New Testament Christian  - Ashley Larson and Ayla Larson

Pillager - Kimberly Keefe
