Owls and Arrows Split Baseball Double Header

Ashby and Hancock split a baseball double header on Monday with the Arrows winning 11-0 and the Owls taking a 3-1 victory.  Brodie Ecker struck out 9 batters in 6 innings to earn the win in game one.  Game two saw Hudson VerSteeg strikeout 7 in 5 innings.

In the opener, Bradee Christianson and Robert Nelson each had 2 hits.  Nelson, Jake Norby and Logan Johnson each knocked in a run.

For the Owls in the nightcap, Donovan Curfman and Jackson Koehl each drove in a run.  Curfman, Davin Rose and Dain Schroeder each had a hit.  VerSteeg allowed only one hit in gaining the victory on the mound.
