Otter Boys Place Second at John Hermes Cross Country Invitational
The Fergus FallsVarsity Boys Cross Country Team placed second at the John Hermes Invitational on Thursday at Pebble Lake Golf Course. “The boys’ have got things rolling,” commented Fergus Falls Head Coach Derek Meyer. “We have put together some great races the past few weeks and look to keep things moving into next week when we travel to Perham. We may not have run our fastest times but we are running as a pack and racing consistent with exceptional effort. David Ronnevik had a breakout day dropping 40 seconds on his season best and a new personal best. He did get new racing shoes, who says new shoes don't make you faster.”

The Fergus Falls Junior High boys had a great meet, placing 2nd overall as a team and the scoring 5 placed in the top 20 individually receiving awards. “This is a strong group of young runners,” said Coach Meyer. “They will look to build on the future success of Otter Cross Country.”
