The Ashby baseball team suffered just their second loss of the season on Friday when they were shutout 9-0 by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg. Senior lefty Alex Call allowed only two hits and struck out 19 batters while walking none.
Wylee Lottman (3-4, 2B, HR, 3R, 2RBI) and Call (2-2, 2B, R, 3RBI, 2SF) were the hitting leaders for the Fighting Saints.
Torin Olson and Kellen Dahlen had the only hits for the Arrows.
KMS is 17-1 heading into Section 6A play on Tuesday.
Ashby takes a 16-2 record into the playoffs.
